EQUIX Biomechanics
Racing Analysis

The sum of the parts equals racing performance

Racing Analysis:
Measurements of specific bone and muscle groups and applied growth rates are used to calculate Biomechanical Efficiency (BME) Scores and to provide conformation analysis. The BME Score was developed and has been proven to be an indicator of athletic ability.

EQUIX’s BME Score is comprised of 36 measurements and 58 calculations computed with our exclusive mathematical modeling, which has proven results spanning the past three decades.

Benefits:

  • Assesses the racehorse’s structural balance and motion efficiency by correlating the various measurements with conformation to predict overall athletic ability
  • Determines the probable peak performance age; optimum racing style; potential best racing distance and surface
  • Provides information the owner can use to establish a yearling’s value
